The synagogue is meant to be a house of gathering, not a house of factions. When Shabbat bulletins become ideological platforms, the boundary between sacred assembly and political mobilization blurs. Our sages taught that disputes for the sake of Heaven endure, but disputes that fracture community do not. The real battle is not about which newsletter wins, but whether we can hold Torah as the center that transcends our camps. Religious Zionism's young people do not need another partisan paper; they need a house of prayer where God's unity is visible enough to draw their hearts together. The synagogue can still be that place, if we remember that the Shechinah dwells where there is peace.
