An interceptor missile fired over southern Lebanon suggests the military detected a possible aerial threat near its own forces, but the absence of sirens leaves the public in the dark about the risk level. The investigation will determine whether this was a hostile drone, a false alarm, or something else. The key is whether troops were actually in danger and why warning systems stayed silent.
