הערכה

Iran's launch of Shahed-136 drones from Piranshahr into Iraqi Kurdistan signals a possible military operation targeting Kurdish groups or infrastructure there. The drones are slow and loud, which explains local sightings and sounds near the border. With no reports of strikes in Erbil or Sulaymaniyah yet, the drones may be still en route or their targets are closer to the border. Watch for Iranian statements claiming operations against Kurdish opposition.
