Nitzan Alon: 'We could have shortened the war and brought hostages home a year earlier'

הערכה

A retired senior Israeli general is publicly stating that the war in Gaza could have been shortened by a year and hostages returned sooner. This is a direct critique of current military and political leadership from someone who held a high command role. The timing matters: the statement comes as the war continues and hostage families grow more vocal. Watch for whether other retired officers echo this or whether the government responds.
