הצהרה משותפת של צה״ל ושב״כ:

הערכה

Israel's military has confirmed the elimination of a senior Hamas commander who was directly responsible for holding Israeli hostages in Gaza. Izz al-Din Bik's role as Northern Gaza Brigade commander placed him at the center of both military operations and hostage management. The announcement names specific hostages he oversaw, including Mia Schem and Hisham al-Sayed. This revelation connects the targeted killing to the broader hostage crisis, signaling that Israel is systematically dismantling the chain of command responsible for captives.
