Israel's military and Shin Bet confirm they targeted senior Hamas official Ali al-Aamoudi in Gaza City overnight. The strike hit a residential apartment where he was staying, using precision munitions with measures to reduce civilian harm. Al-Aamoudi was Yahya Sinwar's deputy and right-hand man, involved in the October 7 decision-making. The strike's outcome is still under review. This marks a direct attempt on one of the highest-ranking Hamas figures still active in the Strip.
