The Houthis have taken a strategic high point west of Taiz, a city that has been a key front in Yemen's long war. Control of Jabal Han gives them a tactical advantage overlooking the area and puts pressure on forces aligned with the internationally recognized Presidential Leadership Council. This is a tangible battlefield gain for the Houthis, not just propaganda. Watch for whether this shifts the front lines around Taiz itself, which has been divided between the two sides for years.
