A security chief at the Nova festival says he received a warning about possible unrest in Gaza about a week before the October 7 attack. The warning came as an audio recording from a soldier serving near Be'eri, who relayed hints from a division commander about potential disturbances during Sukkot. The recording was sent on September 26, 2023. This account raises questions about how seriously the warning was taken and whether festival organizers could have done more to prepare. Watch for official responses from military or police authorities and whether this testimony becomes part of any formal inquiry.
