Torah perspective
The "genocide" charge against Israel is not a new accusation. It is the same script that has followed Jews for millennia: the claim that Jewish power is inherently murderous, that Jewish survival is a crime against humanity. The Torah's prohibition against spreading false reports carries a deeper lesson: words are not neutral. A lie repeated enough times becomes a warrant for violence. The sages taught that the Second Temple was destroyed because of baseless hatred. When a public figure levels a charge this grave against the Jewish state, he is not offering critique. He is furnishing the oldest pretext for Jewish bloodshed, dressed in modern language.
