This is the teaching of 'vayidom Aharon', to stand silent in the face of accusation, and of 'Hinei ma tov u'ma na'im', how good it is when brothers dwell together, singing. Darkness dissolves when you turn on a stronger light. These young Jews understood that intuitively.
