Torah perspective
A young man wearing a kippah cannot walk through Rome without being hunted. The hatred that targets the kippah targets what it represents: the unbroken chain from Sinai, the Jew who refuses to disappear. The Sages taught that Esau hates Jacob, a law of history, not an accident. But the same verse that tells us Esau runs with his sword also promises that salvation comes from Zion. Every attack on a Jew wearing a kippah is a reminder that the kippah is not a piece of cloth but a crown of testimony. The darkness is real, but it is always the backdrop against which the light of Israel burns brighter.
