Torah perspective
The removal of a flag is a small act. The recognition it signals is not. A European leader who once stood with Israel after October 7 now takes office and orders the PLO flag taken down, speaks of moving his embassy to Jerusalem, and calls his predecessors' policies "crazy." This is not diplomacy. It is clarity breaking through a fog of political posturing. The prophet Zechariah saw a time when nations would grasp the corner of a Jew's garment and say, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you." That moment does not arrive by coercion. It arrives when honesty about evil and about good becomes less costly than the lie. Slovenia's shift is one small thread in that ancient garment.
