Torah perspective
Yeshivat Elon Moreh's 30th anniversary is a living testimony to what it means for Torah to be "connected to life." The very name Elon Moreh recalls the first place Avraham Avinu stood when he entered the land, the place where God promised "to your seed I will give this land." Torah learning planted in the hills of Shomron is not detached contemplation; it is the fusion of study with settlement, of Gemara with geography, of halacha with the physical reality of the Land. Thirty years of nurturing talmidei chachamim who live the unity of Torah and the soil of Eretz Yisrael, in the spirit of "Ki mitzion teitzei Torah."
