When hatred enters the room where healing is meant to happen, something sacred is broken. The Torah grounds the medical vocation in the principle that a human life is an entire world, and the Sages derived from the verse "and you shall surely heal" that the physician has divine license to restore. A healthcare setting that pressures Jewish and Israeli practitioners to hide who they are, or that weaponizes union politics against them, corrupts that license. The normalization is the most insidious part, as one act of exclusion makes the next feel ordinary. The antidote is to remember that every patient and every healer is made in the divine image, and that truth belongs in the examination room more than any resolution does.
