Torah perspective
The sanctity of every human life, etched into creation itself at the dawn of time, knows no boundary between faiths. When a house of prayer becomes a place of terror, the covenant of responsibility binds every community to every other. A place of worship is meant to be a mikdash me'at, a small sanctuary where the divine presence dwells in peace. Violence that shatters that peace is an assault not on one people but on the image of God itself. The World Jewish Congress spoke truly: hatred against any faith community is a threat to every faith community. We are all created in the same divine image, and when one bleeds, we all bear the wound.
