The transformation of a space that once housed an agency whose employees participated in the October 7 massacre into a defense compound carries deep resonance. In Torah, when something is used for evil, its rectification comes through being redirected to its opposite purpose. This is the essence of turning a curse into a blessing. The same ground that hosted denial of Jewish sovereignty in Jerusalem now hosts Jewish self-defense. This reflects a deeper pattern in which concealment of the Divine gives way to revelation. Zechariah declared that Jerusalem would be a cup of trembling for the nations. When foreign presence yields to Jewish sovereignty, we witness that prophecy unfolding, each step moving from concealment to revelation.
