Torah perspective
The chant "Resistance is justified when people are occupied" is an inversion of Torah truth. The Land of Israel was given to the Jewish people by covenant, not conquest, and the so-called "Nakba" is nothing other than the birth pangs of a nation returned to its inheritance after two thousand years. What the world calls occupation, the Torah calls settlement of the Land of the fathers. Antisemitism wrapped in the language of liberation remains antisemitism, and the Jewish response is not to debate on those terms but to stand firm: Am Yisrael Chai. The people of Israel live, and no slogan will undo that.
