Torah perspective
A grave asks nothing of you but stillness, and in that stillness the real question surfaces not about the dead but about the living. The Baal Shem Tov taught that the whole Torah is names of the Holy One, and every letter is a vessel for God's light, but the heart is where the light must actually land. To serve God with a full heart means not a heart divided between God and the world's noise, but a heart so present that the verse 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart' becomes literal: with both your inclinations, the good and the difficult, both brought into the service. That is what Medzhybizh asks of every visitor.
