Assessment
A medical transport Gulfstream carrying six people disappeared en route from Bermuda to Boston, and the Coast Guard has now found a debris field off Nantucket. The four Canadian and two Bermudian passengers were on a flight that lost contact, and debris suggests the aircraft broke up. This shifts the mission from search to recovery and investigation. The next critical information will be what caused the loss of contact and whether any survivors were located before debris was found.
