Assessment
Israel's military and domestic security service eliminated two senior Hamas operatives in a joint operation. The targets were identified as Muhammad Halawa, a commander in the military intelligence division, and Ahmad Abu-Odeh, an engineering commander in the armed wing. Both were reportedly advancing terror plots against Israeli forces and civilians, and working to rebuild the organization's capabilities. The strike signals continued pressure on Hamas leadership structures, particularly those involved in operational planning and infrastructure restoration. Watch for potential retaliatory attempts or shifts in Hamas's operational focus following these losses.
