Iran Army Spokesman: We will increase the range of our missiles following the war with the US
Iran Army Spokesman Mohammad Akrami Nia announced that Tehran has decided to increase its missile range following the war with the US.
Assessment
Iran's military spokesperson publicly ties a planned missile range expansion to a war with the United States. The announcement signals that Tehran is framing its strategic posture as a direct response to conflict with Washington. What remains unclear from this statement alone is whether the war is ongoing or concluded, and how the range increase would alter regional deterrence.
