Erdogan accuses Israel of destabilizing Syria, warns Turkey is surrounded by 'ring of fire'
Erdogan accused Israel of undermining stability in Syria, warning that Turkey was surrounded by a "ring of fire" as regional conflicts intensified
Assessment
Erdogan's accusation frames Israel as the destabilizing force in Syria while Turkey faces multiple simultaneous threats. The "ring of fire" language suggests Ankara sees itself as encircled, which signals a hardening posture. Watch whether Turkey translates this warning into military moves or diplomatic pressure toward Damascus and its neighbors.
