Goyim Defense League flyers found at synagogue, B'nai Brith Canada call for investigation
The discovery followed a shooting at the synagogue on Yom Kippur, when a gunman opened fire on a police officer stationed outside as worshippers gathered
Assessment
Flyers from the antisemitic Goyim Defense League appeared at a synagogue already reeling from a shooting on Yom Kippur. B'nai Brith Canada is calling for an investigation, signaling that the flyers may be treated as a hate crime rather than isolated vandalism. The timing links a physical attack with organized harassment, raising the question of whether these incidents are connected. Watch for police to clarify whether the flyers were placed before or after the shooting.
