Israelis set to interrogate Flydubai pilot
The Flydubai pilot was transferred yesterday to the United Arab Emirates, where he is expected to be interrogated by Israeli officials.
Assessment
The transfer of the Flydubai pilot to the UAE sets up an unusual cross-border interrogation. Israeli officials will question him there, likely over operational or security matters tied to the airline's activities. The move signals close coordination between Israel and the UAE on aviation-related incidents. Watch for details on what the pilot is suspected of.
