Netanyahu urges Trump to attack Iran as US pursues further negotiations before midterms - report
Trump confirmed that he had spoken to Netanyahu while speaking to reporters on Sunday, and that they had discussed Iran but declined to share any further details.
Assessment
A report claims Netanyahu pushed Trump toward military action against Iran, while the US administration continues pursuing diplomatic talks ahead of the midterm elections. Trump acknowledged speaking with Netanyahu about Iran but offered no specifics. The tension between negotiation and escalation is the core dynamic here. Watch for whether Trump's public posture shifts toward Netanyahu's harder line or remains focused on the diplomatic track.
