Satellite imagery confirms the USS George H.W. Bush is moving through the Indian Ocean toward a scheduled port call in Phuket, Thailand from October 4 to 10. This is a rare public tracking of a carrier strike group's position and itinerary, likely drawing attention from regional observers. The transparency of the movement and the specific dates matter for anyone monitoring US naval posture in the Indo-Pacific. Watch for any changes to the schedule or additional naval activity near Thailand during that window.
