Former hostage Iair Horn declared honored guest of Buenos Aires, shares story of Gaza captivity
Horn was declared an honored guest of Buenos Aires in a ceremony led by a city legislator who also addressed October 7 and antisemitism
Assessment
A former hostage from Gaza is now being officially honored by the city of Buenos Aires. The ceremony involved a local legislator who spoke about the October 7 attack and antisemitism. This elevates Horn's personal account of captivity into a public, municipal statement. Watch for whether other cities follow with similar honors, turning individual testimony into a broader political symbol.
